This is the show of Africa!!! Nothing like this anywhere but on MNET Africa.Its hot,mature and fun.Not too serious and just for everyone in the family,old,young. I love it and i wish something like this could come to Cameroon. Its amazing. I loved Angelic Voices,voted for them but its sad they got knocked out of the show.They were second on my list coz wonderful,excellent Jon was first.He is a very good and talented singer.He has the charisma any artist is supposed to have.Good job MNET Africa.

tarila's got the voice, but he does not have the charisma that Jon has. I'm talking about total package and not only the voice. An artist needs to have a personality and a good voice. But seriously Tarila is lacking in the latter.

Tamara is good, very confident and has a good command of the stage, but .... i don't know.....something is missing for me.... can't really place my finger on what it is.... maybe I will as the show progresses....

I don't know what happened to Jon last weekend, his performance was not impressive. I don't know... maybe because he was at the bottom two. Anyways, If i've not seen his other performance before, I would have thought otherwise, but he still got my vote. Tamara was off the hook!!! Tarila Tarila, that guy does not have any charisma at all and his performance was dismal. Riola's performace is not it Victor was good in his 2nd song. He got into the song at the middle/end of it.

tamara has been a back-up singer for so many artist. she has trained her voice over the years. I believe she should be waxing her own album by now and not competing with people in naija sings. I believe it is cheating. Look at Ego that used to sing for lagbaja, she left Lagbaja and pursued her own musical talent. I believe that's what tamara should've done and leave the talent hunt for people like Jon and the rest.

Tamara like u said has spent 4 years with lagbaja, she is also a backup singer for tosin martins, that means she's got the voice training over some years. But others in the competition have not done any professional singing like tamara so you can;'t compare the two. I still maintain that tamara shoul not have been in that competition. she should have left it for the undiscovered talents.

What is this thing about Project Fame? Are you saying Poject Fame Provides stiffer challenge! Rubbish! The quality of contestant we have on Naija sings is incomparable. In fact the worst here is better than the best in any of the musical shows ever produced in Naija. of course excluding West African Idol. Timi is Genius!

Those Judges really are very misleading. The Audience comment waooh! terrible. I am wondering why people will prefer mediocres just because you want to encourage them. This I think is another FEDERAL CHARACTER in the making, Rubbish! The best should have it simple! That brings the reall challenge in those who really are interested, not compromising standard!

If you think Tamara shouts, have you thought of the Inconsistency in Jon? He breaks sometimes you know. in fact He himself admitted at a point he didnt do well, because he didnt like doing a particular song. Tamara did every song better than the original singer. She should be told that it wasn't really her singing that got her this far but her Charisma, otherwise Ovie should have being in the top 3, but she lacked Charisma! Adee, shirley009ish, I feel 4 u guys. I guess u probably dont knw dat these guys ar all experienced, except that one is more experienced than d other. Ask Jon how many times he's been practicing singing, even in church, he would tell u how his Church choir master used to drill him, same for Tarila, and Tamara, Ovie etc. Are u guys thinking it's a joke 4 someone to sing on stage hitting high notes! without practice overtime. That Tamara is more experienced I think is the problem. can u blame her.

Now For every game, there are rules, terms and conditions. Here d rule does not say an experienced back up singer does not qualify to participate I think, in fact Tosin Martins during the auditioning confirmed that Tamara backup for him, no big deal! I am sure d rule will frown at an experienced lead singer who probably had produced or recorded an album, but Tamara never did!.

The rule just like in most of the shows disapprove the experience of a lead singer who had recorded an album but definitely not the experience of a back up singer. If you watched American Idol Season 6, a lady by name Lakisha I think, referred to by Simon as "Small tiger" was a back up singer, she wasn't disqualified, or seemed to organisers as having unfair advantage. In all fairness, Tarila sounds better than Jon, Jon's first performance was superb! I love the guy. Tarila seemed 2 av improvd even on his Swagger trying 2 add "GINGER". Jon is a young lad,fun 2 be wit as attested 2,even by Queen Tamara. But...Hmm... The trouble I envisage in both Jon and Tarila is their not been able 2do songs dat are not purely American style or R&B. I am here Chilli pepper, read comment No 130. I think they had put GINGER into the Votes.

As at the last day of voting, the opinion poll indicated Tamara almost doubling Jon's. Also the opinion poll on who's to perform also clearly confirmed TAMARA superiority. These votes were online and the results almost in real time. The real Voting was not though, and if something happened to have upturned TAMARA's votes (about 65%) on opinion polls in favour of JON then it could only have been a "GINGER"! This is may be another case of EKITI state RE-RE-RUN!

If only I had known this is where the GINGER thing is taking us to I would have perched my tent with that beautiful singer JON. I am sure those committed, love stricken females delivered for JON. In all fairness TAMARA was far better. I will please encourage the organisers of Naija Sings to see how they can produce TAMARA big time! She is a bundle of talent. Quote me; She may be better than even Beyonce!
