Born Elizabeth Awoliyi in Lagos, Nigeria in the year 1984 and soon afterwards at the age of eight went to England to continue her education starting first at Sherborne School.
Her gift for public speaking was also recognised their, having competed in the school’s public speaking team (Chairman and Vote of Thanks-Rotary Club) for three years consecutively.
Liz continued her higher education at the University of Birmingham where she graduated in 2005 with a BA Classical Civilisation. Upon completing formal education, Liz started working life as a Recruitment Consultant in the financial sector but finding no fulfilment in the roles but realizing her passion was in public speaking, she started her own online show 'The Liz Yemoja Show' featuring artists from all genres of the entertainment industry, interviewing artists like MI, Wande Coal, Eldee The Don, Kojo Comedian, Eddie Kadi, and many more.
As the show was an instant success, she was soon approached by Storm 360 to present Channel O's 100% Naija, which is now running into its third season, interviewing Nigerians in the Diaspora making positive impact in their society.
